Brake alarms: 9 alarm codes

Brake alarms differ from every other category in one way: they carry real injury risk. A failed brake means a vertical axis can drop. So the first action is not diagnosis - it is stopping the axis, holding power off, and supporting the arm mechanically if needed. This page lists every brake code and that safety-first order.

How we approach this family on site

The electromagnetic brake: brake supply, coil, friction lining and mechanical gap - directly tied to whether an axis can drop brake control signal -> brake supply circuit -> electromagnetic coil -> friction lining and disc -> axis holding

Inspection line: first make sure the axis cannot drop (mechanical support or held power-off), then measure brake supply and coil resistance

Spares we carry: we carry the brand's common brake assemblies, relays and supply modules; every change ends with a static hold test
