What the 1001 alarm means

The TSINO servo drive for the affected axis detected output current above the power-stage limit and shut down to protect the IGBT module. Most common causes

  • Motor power cable shorted phase-to-phase or to ground
  • Motor winding insulation failure
  • Damaged drive power module
  • Oil or coolant inside the motor connector
  • Acceleration far beyond the mechanical capability

Step-by-step field fix

  1. Power off, let the DC bus discharge, then megger the motor phases to ground
  2. Disconnect the motor and power the drive alone — a repeat 1001 means a dead power stage
  3. Dry and clean contaminated connectors
  4. Check the cable for crush points in the dress pack
  5. Replace the failed part and re-test with a slow jog
