Half of service quality is choosing the right consumables. This page publishes the consumables list and judgement criteria we work from, so customers can audit their own stores.
RV and harmonic reducers differ in viscosity and EP-additive needs; mixing grades leaves the oil film too weak. Our rule: check the manual grade before starting and log the batch; if the new grade differs from the old, drain fully and flush. Common specified grades include the Kyodo Yushi Vigogrease RE0 family on FANUC arms; every other brand follows its own manual.

| Consumable | Field baseline interval | Early-change signal |
|---|---|---|
| Reducer grease | Manual interval x duty correction (about 60% at high takt) | black/metallic sample, load temp +10 C |
| Encoder battery pack | 2-3 years (shorter in hot cabinets) | Voltage below 85% of nominal |
| Cabinet filter mat | 6-12 months normal shop; 3-6 dusty | Light transmission clearly down |
| Cabinet fan | Scrap on current/noise, no fixed interval | High current, noise, wobble |
| Body seals | At overhaul or on leak | Oil traces at joints |
Check three things: tooth wear and cracks, tension against the manual deflection value, and tracking. Slack belts skip teeth and drift positioning; over-tight belts wear bearings early. After any belt change, re-verify repeatability.
Stock against the equipment file's due dates, not against "order when broken". Our minimum-stock suggestion per customer: one battery pack per cabinet type, two filter mats per cabinet type, grease at next-service volume plus 20%, one belt per belt-driven model.
