What the DCBusUV alarm means

Drive axis errors appear at power application before any motion: the DC bus fails its pre-charge, often affecting two axes at once on 4-axis machines because one drive module feeds two motors. Step-by-step field fix

  1. Confirm the WMS pendant is connected and communicating
  2. Verify the safety chain is fully closed
  3. Measure the DC bus voltage during power-up (nominal is around 320-340 V DC on 230 V AC systems)
  4. Disconnect drives one at a time to isolate a shorted module
  5. Replace the faulty drive module or pre-charge stage
