What the SRVO-024 alarm means
During motion the following error exceeded the limit - the axis could not keep up with the commanded trajectory. This is one of the faults our repair team handles most often — the cause is usually identifiable within the first on-site inspection.
Most common causes
- Collision or mechanical jam during motion
- Overload: payload or inertia setting too low vs. actual
- Mechanical wear causing high friction (reducer, bearings)
- Servo amplifier or motor degraded
Step-by-step field fix
- Check for collision marks and jammed tooling
- Verify payload and inertia settings match the real end-of-arm tooling
- Jog the axis at low speed and listen/feel for abnormal resistance or noise
- Measure motor current while jogging - abnormally high current points to mechanical load

QWhat does the FANUC SRVO-024 alarm mean?
During motion the following error exceeded the limit - the axis could not keep up with the commanded trajectory. In field practice it belongs to the servo & drive family of faults.
QCan I clear a FANUC SRVO-024 alarm myself?
Sometimes. Follow the step-by-step checks on this page — start with the first cause listed, which is what we find most often in the field. If the alarm returns after two attempts, or the fault involves power/safety circuits, stop and call a qualified robot service engineer.
QHow fast can a Henghuan engineer help?
On-site response in the Pearl River Delta within 30 minutes to 3 hours, across mainland China in 1–3 business days, and worldwide within 2–5 business days. Remote diagnosis by phone/WhatsApp/video is available immediately.
