What the SRVO-044 alarm means
The DC link voltage inside the amplifier exceeded the upper limit. This is one of the faults our repair team handles most often — the cause is usually identifiable within the first on-site inspection.
Most common causes
- Incoming power voltage too high or transformer tap set wrong
- Regenerative energy not discharged (see SRVO-043)
- Amplifier internal voltage detection fault
Step-by-step field fix
- Measure incoming 3-phase voltage and check transformer tap settings
- Check discharge resistor circuit
- If voltage is normal and alarm persists, the amplifier detection circuit is likely faulty - replace amp

QWhat does the FANUC SRVO-044 alarm mean?
The DC link voltage inside the amplifier exceeded the upper limit. In field practice it belongs to the servo & drive family of faults.
QCan I clear a FANUC SRVO-044 alarm myself?
Sometimes. Follow the step-by-step checks on this page — start with the first cause listed, which is what we find most often in the field. If the alarm returns after two attempts, or the fault involves power/safety circuits, stop and call a qualified robot service engineer.
QHow fast can a Henghuan engineer help?
On-site response in the Pearl River Delta within 30 minutes to 3 hours, across mainland China in 1–3 business days, and worldwide within 2–5 business days. Remote diagnosis by phone/WhatsApp/video is available immediately.
