What the 10014 alarm means
The xCore controller reports that a servo drive node failed its ready check or raised a drive-level fault; the affected axis cannot be enabled. This is one of the most-seen codes on ROKAE XB/CR series robots. This is one of the faults our repair team handles on ROKAE xCore (XB / CR / NB series) systems — the cause is usually identifiable within the first on-site inspection.
Most common causes
- Drive node powered off or tripped
- Motor power or encoder cable fault
- Drive overtemperature or overcurrent latched
- Drive firmware exception
Step-by-step field fix
- Read the drive node status in the xCore diagnostics page to find the failing axis
- Check drive power and status LEDs in the cabinet
- Inspect motor and encoder cables for the axis
- Clear the latched drive fault and re-enable at low speed
- Power-cycle the drive node if the fault will not clear
