What the 10006 alarm means

The controller lost its internal bus link to a joint module; the robot stops until the link is restored. This is one of the faults our repair team handles on AUBO i-series / C-series (ARCS SDK) systems — the cause is usually identifiable within the first on-site inspection.

Most common causes

  • Internal bus cable or connector fault
  • Joint module power dip
  • Node addressing conflict after a module swap
  • EMI on the bus
Field note: the first item on this list is what we find most often on real machines. Check it before you go deeper.

Step-by-step field fix

  1. Note which joint drops out and power-cycle
  2. Reseat accessible connectors to the joint
  3. Check for new interference sources near the cell
  4. Verify module firmware versions are matched
  5. Replace the cable or joint module if dropouts repeat
Safety first: never bypass safety circuits or force contactors closed. If the alarm involves E-stop chains, brakes or drive power, and you are not a trained robot technician, contact a professional — wrong moves here can cost you a robot or an injury.
