What the D1500 alarm means
The controller cannot read the axis encoder at all; with a D-level encoder error the controller must be power-cycled and the axis position is suspect. This is one of the faults our repair team handles on Kawasaki E / F / C series (AS language) systems — the cause is usually identifiable within the first on-site inspection.
