What the 10004 alarm means
Joint motor or drive temperature exceeded the limit; the joint is inhibited until it cools. This is one of the faults our repair team handles on AUBO i-series / C-series (ARCS SDK) systems — the cause is usually identifiable within the first on-site inspection.
Most common causes
- Duty cycle too aggressive
- High ambient temperature
- Payload above rating
- Long static holding at high torque
Step-by-step field fix
- Allow the joint to cool before re-enabling
- Reduce speed, payload, or hold time in the program
- Verify the payload setting matches the real tool
- Improve cell ventilation
- Monitor joint temperatures in the diagnostics interface
